  • Provide consulting services for caregivers, administrators, faculty, clinicians and support staff to facilitate language and cognitive enrichment and remediation for children and adults
  • Assist families create effective intervention plans to foster academic independence

Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Instructor

  • Train individuals/small groups to become Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Mediators
  • Develop language and cognitive enrichment for children and adults using Instrumental Enrichment: Basic, Standard, and Tactile instruments

Educational Consultant for toy company 

  • Advise toy companies how to upgrade, modify, and produce games/toys that will enrich cognition, language and learning 

 Workshop/UNIVERSITY LECTURER 

  • Present semester course: Game On…with a Twist! Language and Cognitive Enrichment through Game-Based Instruction 
  • Illustrate how the nature and purpose of games evolved from ancient times to modern day due to political, historical, religious, social and educational values of different time periods in different regions
  • Outline educators and psychologists’ views on the interconnection between cognition, language and learning
  • Describe the neuroscience behind game-based instruction: cognitive and language centers in the brain stimulated during game play
  • Explain classification of games according to skill set
  • Analyze games according to Feuerstein’s main cognitive functions and cognitive map through interactive and immersive opportunities
  • Present workshop: Organization, Note-Taking, and Time Management – Strategies for Success!

GAME-BASED INSTRUCTION

  • Elicit learning, language and cognitive skills for children and adults within an individualized or a small, selective group setting

  • Match the unique needs of clients to personal library of over 1,000 books and a vast inventory of games appropriate for children and adults
  • Customize selection, presentation, and adaptation through text and game-based instruction to enhance cognition, expression, and learning
